[ Mion's own answer is immediate; there isn't the slight hint of hesitation in the slightest bit, especially not when she hears the familiar voice. ]

I'm here. [ There's a lack of her usual jovial tone; instead replaced with urgency and concern. ] What's up?

I've had a discussion with Satoko.

[ Rika feels very light-headed in the moment. She isn't sure if it's from the emotions or whatever else is slamming into her at the moment, but she know she doesn't like it. ]

[ Hearing the word 'discussion' doesn't give her any positive vibes in the slightest bit. Maybe that's why she finds herself masking the emotions in her voice; trying her best to not sound frantic, or too overly worried. It is in this moment that she is not the usual club president - this is the voice of the Sonozaki heir, distancing her emotions from her voice. ]

I assume you want to talk about it. Correct?

[ Rika isn't sure what talking about it will accomplish, but it feels as if there's nothing else that can be done here. She's already fled their shared home, at least temporarily. ]

We had a fight. An unpleasant one.

[ There's a moment of silence on Mion's end, contemplative. She isn't sure what words she can say that can alleviate any of Satoko's worries.

And on top of that...

... Mion's not here to take sides. She needs to hear things out before she makes any decisions. ]

I don't know how much I can do to help, but... I can at least listen.

[ That much is something she can do. She knows that she doesn't hold much power here in this regard. But if there is one thing that she can do... if she can listen, and allow Rika-chan to vent... it's better than nothing.

[ That attempt to sound older and more refined isn't quite working. Despite all her years, this fight has shaken Rika and her voice shakes a little. ]

I apologize for being reclusive from you and your club for the past week.
As you may know, Satoko and Rika had a major fight.
I had some role in bringing that confrontation to a head, as I was giving both of them both advice on their situation that was based on a very limited perspective. I am deeply sorry. I might have made matters worse.
I won't offer any more details. That is up to either of them to share, if they wish to do so.

Satoko is my dear friend, and I've been checking up on her regularly. She's having a difficult time, but doing better.

[ There's a bit of hesitation in her own message as she reads and rereads this message. Given her limited scope of understanding on what exactly the fight was about, it's difficult for her to say much.

But as for what she can say... ]

For now, I will accept your apology. But I will also thank you, for at least being honest with me. And for taking care of Satoko. If anything else comes up, please do not hesitate to contact me.

[ Honestly, she was sitting in front of her phone for a good hour before sending this message. Open communication wasn't her strong suit, to put it mildly. She was working on it. ]

I see. I cannot say that I feel that my mistakes have been in any way cleared. I arrogantly thought I had some inkling as to the problems they had, but I really knew very little. So I do bear some responsibility. Still, I do appreciate your graciousness.

You should also thank Chuuya Nakahara. Yes, the poet. I'm not sure why he's here either, but he's like a father to her.

That isn't something that's uncommon. You understood your mistake, and you apologized for it. If you plan on bettering yourself afterwards, that's what matters the most to me.

[ Because she knows people are flawed. She, too is human and has made plenty of her own mistakes. So she understands. ]

Whether those worlds existed or not isn't important. And even if I don't remember any of it, I'm always willing to represent Sonozaki Mion's feelings - especially for the ones that can no longer say anything.

So even if it's a made up story, it's something that's important to the Satoko that is speaking to me, and for this old geezer, that's enough.

And I'd be willing to hear you out, for as much as you're willing to tell me. There is nothing unnecessary about talking with me, Satoko, no matter how trivial it may seem, or how difficult it may be to say it. After all, if I simply dismissed you and said that I didn't want to hear you out, what kind of leader would I be? Not a very good one, that's for sure.

Most positions that we have for the store are for all ages; you'd just be barred from going to the basement and checking the inventory there.

In terms of the positions that we have to offer, we're in need of store clerks, toy makers, PR workers, and delivery workers. Feel free to ask any questions if you have them.

I could be a store clerk! I know how to be nice to people and can learn new information easily. I don't know how to operate a cash register but I'm sure I can be taught. Otherwise I could deliver, I'm good at carrying large loads!
