Disposition:
Free spirited.
She is introduced as such by Keiichi and is even described as much by various members of her club due to her whimsical, near unpredictable nature. Rika has stated in canon that none of her games wind up being exactly the same (with the exception of ones that were meticulously planned, like the game competition at Da Vinci) which makes life with her never boring.
(Secretly) Girlish.
Mion herself acts as a tomboy a lot of the time, using rather crass language, even being a little lecherous at times as a tease. But deep down, Mion actually likes things that contrast her tomboyish attitude, such as dolls, pink things - and as seen in her college years outfit: accessories such as necklaces and bracelets. While she was certainly shy about showing this side of herself in the past, with the way she holds herself, she definitely has more confidence. Although that isn't to say that she isn't still shy on certain aspects, though.
Competitive.
When it comes to winning or losing things, Mion finds herself wanting to win most of the time. It's basically her motto at this point: where she has to strive to not just be better than most, but to absolutely crush them and be number one at everything that she does. Mion Sonozaki doesn't have a gambling problem, she has a gaming problem. However, even though she might be competitive, she also doesn't like it if there isn't a proper 'punishment game' that goes with it.
Leaderly.
As both the president of the games club and the soon-to-be leader of the Sonozaki family, Mion herself is actually good at 'running the show', so to speak. However, this also comes with both positive and negative connotations. While she is good at bringing people together, riling people up and knowing her group's strengths and weaknesses, she also knows when she has to 'play the proper part', meaning that there are times when she might come off as cold, and even cruel to the point where she distances her emotions. Shion, her sister, even describes it as that there are "two Sonozaki Mions" - one that is kind and loving and one that cold and calculating.
Caring.
Mion has a big heart that cares so much for other people, especially her friends and family. It's shown time and again that she's unwilling to take lives and that she is actually rather protective of those that she cares about, to the point where she will, at times do some rather unreasonable things for them. She doesn't like seeing those she cares about get hurt, to the point where she outright states that if someone even dares to hurt them, she'll make sure that they'll suffer a fate even worse than death.
Suitability:
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a series whose themes lie in communication, working together, and the bonds between friends, something that seems to be a key thing in handling Synchrony.
Mion already has absolutely no qualms in getting physical as needed; even more so now that she has a lot more confidence. But even if she does get rather 'physical', she doesn't have much in the way of experiencing intimacy with others, and thus this would be a good experience for her to get to actually learn something new and add that to her list of skills she can utilize for her advantage. And as a natural-born leader, she can easily worm her way into pretty much anyone's lives, as she has both the charisma and confidence to do so. Mion can also handle a multitude of topics from the more grim, content-heavy things to more light things.
Given that she's pretty normal (as she hasn't recalled anything yet at the moment) the transformations might actually surprise her at first, and some of the abilities and physical changes might actually shock her a little bit, but she certainly will try to learn and master them so she can use them for fun and her own personal gain.
Condition upon arrival: In perfect health. As of this writing, the Hinamizawa Syndrome has been stated to be completely gone - or at the very least dormant, given that it's been stated in canon that the "cause of the syndrome has changed", and therefore people have basically been cured of it.
Abilities: As a mostly normal human, Mion doesn't exactly have much in the way of supernatural abilities - her canon states outright that she can recall things if a looper (one who travels through various alternative worlds) that has close connections to her keeps on going into 'new worlds' that have her soul in it.
Outside of that, Mion is a leader, through and through; being having been a leader of games clubs for many years as well as being the future head of her own family. Because she's a games club leader, she's rather skilled at games - primarily various tabletop/card games - and being able to cheat at them in various ways.
She's also a rather good strategist, using various guns and even martial arts. Also, since she's a twin, she can also act and pose as her sister. Mion is also a really good cook, too.
Inventory: Other than her main outfit which consists of a black top and white pants, a school swimsuit with her name printed on it in hiragana.
Gembond: Ruby
Gem Location: On the nape of the neck.

- They were all here, together.
The five of them. Satoko-chan, Rika-chan... even Rena and Kei-chan.
And ordinarily, many people would think that would be enough for her. And in some ways, it is. They were her best friends, the club members that helped her in both the best of times... and the worst.
... But.
There was someone missing.
The hole in her life, her other half. Maybe it was wrong of her to want to be so selfish, to want to see her sister again. Yet it also felt wrong to live a life without her, to live somewhere, anywhere without her.
Weren't they supposed to share everything together?
Weren't they supposed to be there for each other?
She couldn't help but hate that, so much. She couldn't cry, though. Not in front of her fellow club members, who were. And not in front of the rest of the people of this world, either. What kind of leader would she be if she did something like that? Not a very good one, she'd guess.
That's why she had to press on in the first place. Even in a strange world, she had her friends. Even without Shion, she still had them to both rely and lean on. And that was fine with her. Sure, everything might be foreign.
But once upon a time, the high school in Okinomiya was foreign to her.
Gogura University was foreign to her.
Now, however? It's a piece of cake. She could handle any adversity that came her way - whether it would be strange creatures - they reminded her of home in some ways; of the many stories of oni that her grandmother would tell her when she was young - or the places that made her feel like she was in some foreign science-fiction movie.
Sure, she'd have so much to learn. And she knew that she probably could also teach people a few things, too.
For Sonozaki Mion, however...
... for now ...
Just being here, with people she cared about, was enough to make her push through the strangeness of it all.
